World Preview of New Monster 696 - Superbike Range Completed with Introduction of New 848 and Flagship 1098 R Model
Milan, Italy - The entire Ducati world will take up a display area of 800 sq. metres (Pavilion 18, Stand D65) at the 65th edition of the EICMA International Motorcycle Exhibition, Milan from 6-11 November. New bikes, new accessories and a new line of apparel all form part of the innovative 2008 line-up for the Bologna manufacturer, which is also celebrating its recent world title victory in MotoGP.

The Ducati MotoGp Team enjoyed its greatest day in Japan today, Casey Stoner securing Ducati's first MotoGP World Championship and Loris Capirossi winning the race, run in tricky conditions on a drying track. The result triggered scenes of unbridled joy in the Ducati MotoGp Team pit, in the more than one thousand fans who watched the race in the Borgo Panigale Factory with the CEO Gabriele Del Torchio among them and in all the Ducatistis around the world.

Following last weekend's thrilling series opener in Qatar, Troy Bayliss returns to Phillip Island, Australia for the second round of the World Superbike Championship with a two-point lead in the standings. The 36-year-old Aussie from Taree finished runner-up in both Losail races to lead the world championship for production-based machinery for the first time since Assen 2002. That year Troy lost out on his second successive title, but the tough Aussie, who has returned to Superbikes this year after a spell in MotoGP, is determined to regain his crown from last year's champion and Aussie rival, Troy Corser (Suzuki).
