Q: What was the year you first owned
a Ducati?
A: January 2004
Q: What was your 1st Ducati Bike?
A: 2003 Monster 620ie
Q: How was Your 1st Ducati Riding
Experience?
A: I Bought my first Ducati that was pre-owned from Davao
and rode it to CDO. Rode it around Northern Mindanao for two
months in preparation for the Gensan National Convention in
2004. It was a great ride from CDO to Gensan National
Convention. Then on, I became part of the Mindanao brotherhood
of riders.
Q: Do you own other Ducati Bikes, if
so what is your favorite Ducati and why?
A: Yes. 2007 Multistrada 620 bought from Access Plus. Bought
another Ducati because of performance, reliability and design.
Now, I also have the Diavel. It is perfect for cruising the
roads of Mindanao. Power, handling, cutting edge design and
latest electronic technology made me love this devil of a
machine.
Q: Do you have personal tips that
you can share to fellow Ducatisti?
A: Try the 2011 Multistrada S Touring and the new Diavel
if touring the countryside is your thing. It makes other choices
irrelevant.
Q: What was your most memorable
Ducati Ride?
A: As President of the Kagayanon Krusers, I led the group
from CDO to Baguio City and back to Manila, 1,600 kms. We rode
through CDO, Iligan, Dapitan, Dumaguette, Bacolod, Iloilo,
Caticlan, Mindoro, Batangas, Manila, Baguio and back to Manila.
We were graciously hosted and escorted by all the rider clubs of
different cities we passed. Our entire trip was on schedule and
accident-free. Except for 3 minor breakdowns (of other brand
bikes) along the way. Also, in spite of the storm during that
convention, KK managed to stay dry the entire ride. To date,
that has been my longest and most memorable Ducati ride.
Q: What Made you decide to be a part
of the Ducati family?
A: I have owned all the major motorcycle brands available
in the country but after my first Ducati purchase, I have found
what I have been looking for in performance, handling, design
and dealer support. The Ducati Philippines/Access Plus team of
Toti, Joy, Art, Erwin, Karen have been outstanding partners in
the development of the Ducati Davao dealership. The support and
guidance they have been given has made me confident on the
success of Ducati brand in Southern Philippines. I am so looking
forward to the partnership with Toti's team in the many years to
come.
