This Pre-Game Jam Seminar is aimed at teaching attendees how to be able to make games in a time-constrained environment. The seminar is targeted at developers, students and hobbyists looking to get started in making games, and will also serve as an orientation for the Manila Game Jam, to be held in UP ITTC and DLS-CSB on January 27 to 29.

The FIRST web design conference for students in the Philippines is finally here!

As the Philippine Web Designers Organization (PWDO) and TomasinoWeb (TomWeb) bring you Junior <form> function() & .class (JFFC).

JFFC is the student counterpart of PWDO’s <form> function() & .class which is the first community-organized web design conference in Asia. The JFFC conference aims to gather students around the country who want to develop their potential in the field of web design by learning from professionals and to interact with web design enthusiasts as well.

The event will be held on February 11, 2012 at the AMV-COA Multipurpose Hall at the AMV-COA Building, University of Santo Tomas, Manila .

Drupal Camp Manila 2012

DrupalCamp Manila is an annual conference organized by the Philippine Drupal Users Group (PHDUG)Our 2012 DrupalCamp will be on Saturday February 25 at Marine Science Institute, UP Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines.

The Computer Professionals' Union is inviting everyone to join us at the DrupalCamp3D: Down and Dirty with Drupal on January 28. The camp will feature tracks designed for students and beginners, non-profits and the public sector.

Sessions like, Drupal 1-2-3, are for those who are starting with Drupal. This is a guided installation and configuration of Drupal for beginners. A Web Portal Planning Workshop for nonprofits will prepare participants for actual deployment of their organization's website. The camp will also launch Bagani, the human rights violations monitoring system developed with Drupal 7.

Since Drupal 4 and the first People's Orgs Boot Camp on Free Softwares in February 2007, CPU has helped nonprofit organizations deploy and manage more than forty websites with Drupal. DrupalCamp3D will be the second Drupal Camp for non-profits in the Philippines.

DrupalCamp3D is supported by the Drupal Association through the Drupal Community Cultivation Grants.
